HI

OK I know most of you are on face book now, so you probably don't very often update your blogs, but since I am not up to date with the newest technology (face book) I am still blogging. Hey it took me a couple of years to learn how do blog.
I am sure you all know I had my gallbladder out--it wasn't bad since I was out and don't remember a thing. I really didn't have much pain till about 2 days later then I was on drugs for a couple of days which was helpful. The worst though is that I can not seem to get my energy back. It has been 3 weeks and I guess I think I should have enough energy to run a marathon--like I would really do that I am to old fat and lazy. I did go to the doctors last week and he said that it can actually take 2 or 3 months to get your energy level back to were is was before surgery, so I have to be patient. I am pretty sure Dan is sick of seeing me lying in bed, or on the couch staring at the TV. Although I would recomend having surgery in the winter like I did if anyone has to have it because then you don't have to go out in the cold and snow. And then you will feel better by the time the weather gets warm so you can go out a play and have fun.
I just want to say that I do have a wonderful husband. He has been so helpful and patient throughtout this whole ordeal. He has been good to cook or go get us something to eat. He watched over me and got things for me whenever I needed anything. I love him dearly!
I guess that is it for now. Keep on blogging!!

Happy New Year!!!
We had a great one with the family and food and drink and banging pans and screaming at midnight--lots of fun.
Dan and I finished watching all the epsiodes of the office all 4 seasons. That show just makes me laugh--it is probably because I work with people that are just like some of the ones on the show.
Well have a wonderful wintery day!!

I just wanted to say that Dan and I had a great Christmas holiday. We had lots of fun when all the kids and grandkids came to our family party. We even had fun (sort of) when we tried to go visit T&K and family, J&B and family on Christmas day and had to turn around because the snow was so bad and the roads were way scary for us old people. We did have a nice visit with M,S&D that day and was able to visit the other kids on Fri. We had 5 days off from work--which having time off work if the best Christmas present--we relaxed, enjoyed the family and each other, went to a show, ate ourselves sick, and decided to have an "Office" watching fest--which we are still trying to do. We have watched all the 1st, 2nd and most of 3rd seasons. I love that show!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

My son's commercial

For anyone who may read my blog I just wanted to let you know my oldest son Tracey made a Doritto commerical and submitted it in a contest. If it is chosen he will win big money and it will air during the Superbowl. If any of you want to see the commercial go to www.crashthesuperbowl.com/#/gallery/video/971/
everytime you go into to watch it--he gets more attention and if he gets enough people looking at it he will be in the final 5. Then if he makes it to the final 5 there will be a website you can go in and vote. So if you have time watch his video 100 millions times (ha ha) and then I will let you know if he makes it into the final 5 where you can vote for him. It should be sometime in the first of Jan. He is a great kid and has a lot of talent as a vidophotograhper! Also pass this on to as many people as you know and see if they are willing to help!
Thanks to all
Karen Lee.
